There were disturbances involving around 100 youths on Halloween, the trouble happened in the Rosedale and Andrews Lane areas.

Four people have been arrested after fireworks were thrown at parked cars, houses and Police in Cheshunt. But also London and Birmingham.

A pregnant 26-year-old, who wished to stay anonymous for fear over her own safety, said how "furious" she was as a firework narrowly missed her mother's car as they were making their way to the petrol station.

Her mother was driving her by The Jolly Bricklayers pub, just off Flamstead End Road, when a group of around 30 people shot a firework at their car at 10.30pm.

She said: "I was absolutely furious. I am six-months pregnant and the firework was close to hitting us.

"A lot of the shops seemed to close because of what was going on. We live near the pub and could still hear fireworks going off until after midnight."

Videos also emerged on Facebook as concerned residents reported trouble in Flamstead End Road.

Herts Police say they spent several hours dispersing the groups after numerous calls from locals.

A police spokesman said some of those arrested were cautioned and some released to their parents' care as they were minors.
