Ambulances and Police were called to attend the scene of two cars involved in a serious collision in Watford on Wednesday Evening.

At around 11pm Herts Ambulance Crew were called to attended a Road Traffic collision on the A405 North Orbital Road in Watford.

Local Residentsheard the police Helicopter overhead.

Two cars were seriously damaged when they had a smash along the A405 North Orbital as one pulled out from the Hollywood Bowl.

The white Renault was driving along the North Orbital Road smashed into a Black Ford car that appears to have pulled out of the Woodside Leisure Park.

The Black Ford had been hit on the right side which impacted and almost removed the rear door, it then was sent spinning into the cental barrier, ending up with more dents and scrapes to the left hand side.

It is believed no one was seriuosly injured, but await for more updates.

Local LibDem Councillors Tim Williams and Steve Cavinder at the A405.

They have been campaigning Watford and Herts council for lower speed limits.

The stretch of A405 between Woodside Leisure Park and St Albans Road has a 40mph limit, but Cllrs Steve Cavinder (Woodside) and Tim Williams (Stanborough) say this is often ignored, putting both drivers and pedestrians at risk.
