The Brits saw two awards handed to the late David Bowie and tributes to George Michael.

 

David Bowie the iconic singer was handed the Best British Male Solo Artist prize and Mastercard’s British Album of the Year gong for his Blackstar record, released just days before his death.

 

Bowie’s son Duncan Jones accepted the latter prize on his father’s behalf,
saying: “I lost my dad last year but also became a dad.

Andrew Ridgeley -- the other half of '80s pop duo Wham! -- has remained mostly out of the public eye since the unexpected death of George Michael on Dec. 25, 2016. But for the 2017 Brit Awards, Ridgeley stepped out into the spotlight to deliver a touching tribute to his friend and former bandmate. 

 

 

Limited tickets were selling for £105 (plus fees), they're not exactly cheap either...
