Abbots Langley House burglary Robbed of their Jewellery

Officers investigating a burglary in Abbots Langley are appealing for information and witnesses.

Between 10am and 5.30pm on Wednesday, August 2, offender(s) forced open the front door of a property in Trowley Rise and searched inside.

They stole two sets of wedding and engagement rings, a kerb link heavy gold necklace, square gold pendant earrings, a Chanel large gate bracelet, a signet ring, a Tag watch, gold memorial coins, two iPads, four iPad Minis and Euros.

Investigator Kevin Deudon said: “This burglary happened during the daytime so I am appealing for anyone who was in the area between the times stated and believes they saw anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, no matter how insignificant you may think it is, to get in touch as you may have information that could assist our investigation.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who has been offered jewellery matching the descriptions for sale in suspicious circumstances.

“Significant enquiries have been carried out following the burglary and patrols have been increased in the local area.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Kevin Deudon via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference C2/17/2440 or report information online at www.contacthertspolice.uk/Report.
